Atlantix is a CYTY Labs initiative exploring how large fleets of intelligent, autonomous underwater drones could build highly detailed 3D maps of the world’s ocean floor.

Map together.
Atlantix envisions compact underwater vehicles operating in coordinated swarms above the seabed. Advanced sonar, environmental sensors, and AI would work together to construct detailed 3D maps of Earth’s least-explored terrain.
Surface. Recharge. Dive again.
Designed around long-duration exploration, the concept envisions self-sustaining drones capable of surfacing, deploying solar panels, recharging, transmitting collected data, and returning underwater.
Beyond mapping.
The initiative aims to support marine science, subsea infrastructure, offshore energy, mineral exploration, and environmental monitoring.
An evolving ocean atlas.
The long-term vision is a continuously evolving digital atlas of the entire ocean floor, targeting resolutions as fine as 3 metres per pixel at global scale.
